Marilyn Gist, Ph.D., is an executive coach, researcher, professor, and author of  The Extraordinary Power of Leader Humility: Thriving Organizations & Great Results. Gist’s work has garnered over 12,000 citations. She is a Howard University graduate with years of teaching at the University of Washington and Seattle University. Her academic career spans the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the University of Washington where she held the Boeing Endowed Professorship of Business Management, and Seattle University where she served as Associate Dean, Professor of Management, and Executive Director of the Center for Leadership Formation.
